Among the fields of research, the field of immunology has made great strides in scientific discovery in part, thanks to single-cell technologies such as flow sorting, single cell barcoding, and the robust characterization and development of immune cell markers/antibodies. As more and more immunotherapies, especially cancer therapies, progress in the pre-clinical pipeline or come to market, research and clinical labs turn to single cell solutions to better understand the behaviors and molecular signatures of specific population of immune cells and their effect in disease progression. To support these research efforts and meet the demand for sample throughput and consistency in methods, operational and process efficiency of upstream sample prep need to be considered.

Data is shown for cell count, cell viability, and immune cell marker populations via flow cytometry.
